This guide provides communities with some best practices to use when evaluating and writing temporary-sign regulations that are easier to administer and enforce, while also allowing for the reasonable use of such signage for residents and businesses alike. This guide also includes updated commentary and recommendations related to the June 2015 ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States in the Reed v. Town of Gilbert, Arizona case.
