SRF aspires to be the essential resource for anyone seeking relevant, timely, and expert information on the manufacture, design, use, or regulation of signs.

Our Impact

Sign industry professionals are trained on engineering standards, legibility, design, placement, and regulations. But those who regulate or purchase signs have historically not had the same type of education.

SRF stepped in to fill this gap, funding academic research to develop a library of best practices.

We develop profession-specific learning programs, delivering insightful and useful information that can immediately be put into practice.

In the past decade, we have helped almost 15,000 professionals through our research, education, and outreach programs.
