Sarah Wexler is a recognized retail design leader, corporate retail executive and LEED Accredited Professional.
At Foot Locker, she leads the brand’s global storefront signage & branding initiatives. Prior to Foot Locker, Sarah led global store design for Under Armour.
Sarah understands how to navigate the intricacies of signage regulations in the multitude of spaces represented by her brands — whether on city streets, in shopping & outlet malls, and in shop-in-shop environments — to provide clarity on best practices and effectiveness, ensuring both design intent and quality are maintained across the variety of sign types.

Senior Director, Alvarez & Marsal
Max Fulton has significant experience leading organizations and implementing positive change.
In his current role at Alvarez & Marsal, he focuses on assuming interim CFO roles within struggling companies. Previously, he was CEO of Gordon Sign Company and Radio360.
Max has extensive experience developing negotiation strategies, financial forecasts, performance improvement plans, operational restructuring, offering memorandums, simplification plans, strategic alternatives and business plans. He continually surrounds himself with successful people and enjoys leading and contributing to high-performing teams.

Stacey Brown is a visual communication and visual branding expert providing powerful solutions to help her clients build their brand and increase customer engagement.
As the owner of Signarama Silver Spring and Signarama DC North, she focuses on the organizations’ business and marketing objectives first and then utilizes that information to provide optimal signage solutions.
Stacey brings decades of experience in project management, business operations and marketing to provide her clients with a consultative and holistic approach to visual communication and branding. She is also very involved in her local business community.

Special Projects Director, SEGD
Liz Griswold is a seasoned leader, practitioner, and passionate advocate for Experiential Design.
She leads special projects for the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD), overseeing a diverse portfolio of key projects and initiatives for the organization.
Before joining SEGD, Liz held pivotal roles leading Experiential Design markets at two A/E firms, earning a total of 28 design awards throughout her tenure at each firm.

Design and Sourcing, Principle Global
MJ (Manish Jaisinghani) is an accomplished and multi-faceted veteran of the branding industry, with a range of executive level responsibilities within manufacturing, operations, design, engineering, sales, and sourcing at various national organizations.
In his current role, MJ leads design and sourcing for Principle Global where he brings his passion for building long lasting relationships with people and organizations. Previously, he lived in Mexico City leading teams for more a telecom store rebranding project with more than 2000 stores that spanned signage, graphics, and furniture/millwork along with light GC work.
He is certified in Six Sigma and Kaizen and very accomplished in leading continuous improvement across organizations.

Brenda Velázquez has decades of experience in the sign industry where she provides her creative expertise to local and national partners.
Currently the CEO of Future Sign Company, she is constantly learning and growing from the industry’s tough situations and code changes.
Brenda brings many of these ideas to the table to collaborate and share much needed creative concepts and success stories.
Executive Director
Sapna Budev is a visionary strategic leader who brings a vast awareness of academic research and educational resource development to her role.
As the executive director of the Sign Research Foundation, she establishes and oversees the Foundation’s program, financial, and operational goals; guides the creation and implementation of the strategic plan, and represents the Foundation before key constituencies. Previously, Sapna served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the International Sign Association (ISA).
Her interest in academic research was launched when she partnered with the Sign Research Foundation to spearhead the 2013 joint publication of the Urban Wayfinding Planning and Implementation Manual. This research produced a series of webinars and workshops which educated over 2,000 planners and downtown managers on the concepts surrounding complex wayfinding systems and projects.
Senior Manager, Programs
Michel Williams is a dedicated program manager with keen organizational abilities, an eye for detail, and a knack for using data to streamline processes and implement new technologies.
Michel has extensive experience in association program management, having led major technology initiatives at the International Sign Association (ISA) and the Sign Research Foundation (SRF), including system implementations, website modernization, and database restructuring.
We are grateful to our former board trustees who built SRF into the Foundation we have today.
